BRIEF DETAILS OF MANUFACTURING PROCESS DESIGN

The designing of the Panel / DB is done by qualified Engineers and drawing are prepared accordingly.

FABRICATION
The sheet metel enclosure for the Panel / DB are fabricated in the fabrication shop. The Panel / DB/ cable tray is fabricated using galvanised sheet / mild steel structural sections of pressed and shaped colled rolled smoothly finished ( free from flaws) steel of thickness not less then 1.6 mm. Doors and covers are made of sheet steel of thickness not less then 1.2 mm colled rolled sheet. Stiffeners provided wherever necessary.
Cut-outs are true in shape and devoid of sharp edges. The complete structure is rigid, self supporting and free from twists and bends.

PRE-TREATMENT
Prior to painting / galvanizing , the enclosures / cable trays are treated chemically using various process like degreasing, water sensing for removal of grease and dust, as well as for imparting a coat of phosphating, for prevention of any rust formation, before painting.

PAINTING
Facility is available for both powder-coating & spray painting, as per customer requirement.

ASSEMBLY
The switchgear, control-gear, bus-bar is assembled in the enclosures as per customer requirement.

WIRING
All the component assembled are wired as per the wiring diagrams. Wiring inside the panel is carried out with 1100/650 volt grade, PVC insulated, stranded conductor wire of adequate size. Minimum size of conductor for power circuits is 1.5 sq. mm copper. Control wiring is done with 1.0/1.5 sq. mm copper conductor of at least 2.5 sq. mm for CT circuit and 1.5 sq. mm for other circuits.

BUS BAR
Bus bars are of uniform cross-section throughout the length of the switchgear. Bus bars are of high conductivity copper or high conductivity aluminum alloy of 63401 grade of IS:5082 as per requirement. In case of copper, current density is equal to or less then 2.00 Amps per sq. mm and in case of Aluminum , current density is equal to or less then 1.6 Amps per sq. mm
All the bus bars are designed for better heat dissipation and if required, insulated with red, yellow, blue and black as per standard practices.
Bus bars are adequately supported and braced to withstand the stresses due to a fault level as per Indian standard. Bus bar supports are made of high quality SMC/DMC/PORCIELENE compound.
